Sample needs one of the funniest keyboards ever created: the iconic D6 Clavinet model, famous for its percussive playability and gritty sound.
The original Clav has always had a special appeal in funk, fusion, rock and soul music for its unique touch and sonic versatility, from bright tones, vibrant, subtle and gritty to soft, rich and smooth tones.
For this instrument, we've meticulously sampled all the texture, articulation and hammer tip mechanics of the authentic D6 Clavinet in silent and unmute modes, recreating all the dynamic control, feel and expression of the funkified original icon.
Using just a few controls, you can get a variety of deep sonic textures, capturing the distinctive timbre of Clavi's exclusive single-coil pickups. Choose from a selection of factory presets, with patches modeled on Stevie Wonder's “Superstition”, Billy Preston's “Outta Space” and other classic songs; or model your own tones using the built-in auto-wah, overdrive and more.
