When it was originally released in the mid-1990s from 1970, Aphex Aural Exciter brought its sound distinguished to select sessions from top recording artists, traveling from studio to studio as an exclusive (and expensive) rental unit.
A true pioneer, the original Aural Exciter was highly regarded for its ability to enhance and enhance presence, brilliance and vibrancy in the vocal and instrumental ranges. He was even credited as a "session player" on bestselling albums by artists such as Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt and James Taylor.
