Abbey Road Chambers
The Abbey Road Chambers plug-in recreates a part of the studios' legendary sonic signature - the echo chamber used by Abbey Road's famous engineers to create thrilling reverbs, delays and other unique spatial effects on countless classic recordings by Beatles and others.
Developed in conjunction with Abbey Road Studios, Waves' Abbey Road Chambers puts you in control of Studio's echo chamber Two, complete with the original Neumann KM53 tube microphones and the Altec 605 speaker, used in almost every pop recording made at Abbey Road during the 1960s.
Abbey Road Chambers also offers an additional set of original filters that go into the chamber - the EMI RS106 Low / High Pass Filter and the EM12 RS127 Presence EQ - to further sculpt the perfect sound of the camera ra.
A complete recreation of the original STEED (Send. Tape. Echo. Echo. Delay.) From Abbey Road Studios - a system designed to extend the camera's natural sound palette into new territory by splitting the signal and creating a feedback loop from the studio's REDD console via a dedicated tape delay via RS106 and RS127 and then to camera and back.
As a bonus, the plug-in also includes two additional legendary spaces: Abbey Road's famous Mirror Room, and the Stone Room at Olympic Studios in London.
Abbey Road Chambers is designed in a modular way: you can send your tracks just to the chamber or isolate just the STEED effect or combine the two for a full range of sonic possibilities opened up by the Abbey Road's original setup.
