Best Service's Voyager Drums brings you two Power Drum Kits, recorded and edited by the manufacturer of "Artist- Drums" and "Artist Grooves".

The strong, powerful sound is perfect for your pop, rock, jazz and funk productions. 360 MIDI Grooves are included for instant use.

VDA Voyager Drum Kit contains two different YamahaTM drum kits:

Kit 1 is a Yamaha Maple Custom

Kit 2 is a Yamaha custom engraving.

Each drum kit comes with three different instruments:

COMPLETE kit,  direct, overhead and room mics

Aerial, direct and overhead mics

DIRECT, direct mic only

The Voyager Drums were recorded in three different microphone positions with 24-bit 96KHz, 5 Round Robins and 16 speed layers in the main studios near Münster, Germany. The best equipment from SPL, API, Apogee and microphones from Neumann, Sennheiser, AKG, Rhode and Shure were used to get the best possible results.

You can define individual attack and decay times for the three microphone positions. Since the direct signal was recorded in mono, you can define your own panorama.

Trigger Sound allows you to enhance the natural sound of the kick drum (also available for snares and tones) with synthetic drum sounds. That way you can create new and exciting drum sounds. The trigger sounds also have individual delay and pitch control.

Effect section

The Effect section is designed for ease of use . The compressor offers a selection of useful presets. The limiter prevents the signal from being cut off. Using the equalizer and distortion, you can shape the sound to your liking.

The Arranger

VD Groove Arranger

The arranger allows you to activate midi grooves from within Voyager Drums. These slots will always be in sync with the speed of your sequencer. Select from 5 different speed presets, each containing 48 straight grooves, 12 triple grooves and 12 fills. Each slot was recorded at the indicated BPM setting, resulting in a total of 360 individual variations. You can also find the slots as midi files in your library folder, for use directly in your sequencer.
