The sound and feel of Tony's illustrious drums were deftly captured at acclaimed Ardent Studios in Memphis, TN, in the finest recording equipment available. Each individual kick drum, snare drum and cymbal hit was traced to a 2-inch Studer analog tape machine to get the highly desirable tape compression effect. Complemented by a high definition audio engine, each sample translates the realism and flawless detail of the session into any modern digital audio workstation. Tony gives his unique touch to each individual note he plays, and that's exactly what you get.
Using a MIDI keyboard, electronic drums or pad controller, users can access 20 Gigabytes of Tony's high-level combo of performance , sound, nuance and touch to enhance your music and performance. When you assemble them yourself, you get the genuine sound of an R&B legend.
In addition, the drum/cymbal hits can be adapted to any project through the instrument's powerful editing and mixing features. Users can adjust pitch, envelope, EQ and filter settings for each drum or cymbal, bringing versatility to the modern musician's arsenal. A new mixer provides per-part level, pan and ambient control - giving users the ability to explore the coveted textures of Ardent's world-class live room. Post-processing effects include compression, reverb and EQ.
