In addition to comprehensive import and export capabilities, we've also included a sophisticated Patch Manager to sort your presets however you like. The TimewARP 2600 also responds to MIDI patch and bank select commands for full control.
Use as part of an effects chain
Use the signal input/output function on any ProTools I/O bridge to use the TimewARP 2600 as an elaborate signal effects processor.
Connect a guitar, microphone or other sound source to provide an additional signal feed to be used on the TimewARP as an oscillator, LFO modulator, control voltage and much more. Use the synthesizer as an effect to process input. Create unique vocoder effects. For example, Pete Townsend used this ability to drive the guitar sound in The Who's "Who Are You".
MIDI Track Trigger
Running as a track plug-in, the TimewARP 2600 can also process tracks Pre-recorded MIDI. Under MIDI control, the internal clock can be synced to an input MIDI beat clock.
