SSL SubGen is a top-notch sub-bass harmonic synthesizer with up to four independently programmable bands that can generate frequencies an octave lower than the source signal. It is ideal for giving snares, kicks, and basslines more weight and punch. SubGen offers a straightforward interface to swiftly generate rumble and sub-bass, whether you're wanting to rebuild bass frequencies in thin-sounding or badly recorded kick and bass guitar songs or generate LFE content for a film mix or sound design project.

In addition to having an incredibly musical sound with a sub-bass generation algorithm that seamlessly blends with your source instrument, SubGen offers a workflow improvement called per-band soloing, mix lock, and built-in contextual help, as well as an incredibly simple interactive interface for controlling the gain, width, and frequency for each band.

With the gain-compensated drive control and the 3 specifically designed saturation modes (pre, kick, and bass), you can quickly adjust the harmonic character of various sources. Use the compressor module to regulate your sub-bass dynamics. You may blend any combination of your wet and dry signals using the simple all-in-one mix, which also lets you adjust parallel compression and punch.

Want to regulate your sub-bass? Use the moderate low- and high-pass filters to reduce undesired high frequencies and clean up your mix while controlling the bass that is generated.
