Vintage console style channelstrip.

Funkenschlag is a mono / stereo channel strip plug-in with three combinable tools that color the sound of your tracks.

The first part is a preamp based on a German tube preamp from the 1950s. It is used for harmonic tube distortion and offers two filters for selected high and low frequencies. The preamp section has an auto-trimmed output, so you do not add unwanted gain to your signal, just harmonic distortion to keep the compression from increasing.

The second part is a compressor and limiter based on a 1960s analog vintage device. With classic controls such as „Eingangspegel“, „Begrenzung“, „Arbeitspunkt“ und „Rückstellzeit“, you have a tonal range from subtle compression to heavy limiting of the signal.

The third section offers a graphic equalizer with selected frequencies for flexible sound design. The signal flow can be changed by switching the equalizer before or after the compressor / limiter. Each section of the channel strip can be turned on and off separately for even greater usability and control of CPU utilization when needed.

PC: Multicore CPU, 64bit operating system (min. Windows 7), 8 GB RAM, 500MB HDD, 1024x768 screen resolution, VST2 64bit compatible audio host. AAX 64Bit operating system and DAW (PT 11 or higher).

MAC: Dual Core CPU, 64 bit operating system (min. OS X 10.9 - Mavericks), 8 GB RAM, 500MB HDD, 1024x768 screen resolution, VST/AU 64bit compatible audio host. AAX 64Bit operating system and DAW (PT 11 or higher).
