Great sound, simple controls, creative results
A cabinet is an essential part of the guitar sound. Professional guitarists often use physical cabinets or buy thousands of impulse response files from these cabinets. In either case, it's an extremely clumsy hit-and-miss process.
MCabinet is based on statistical analysis of these actual cabinets. It lets you start with a profile of thousands of these IRs and start getting creative from there. It provides 4 resonators, which can give your new cabinet a unique tonal or resonant character, and 2 amplifiers, which provide natural stereo widening and potentially some ambience. Finally, MCabinet lets you post-process your new cabinet using simple buttons such as leveling or tilting. And there's a dynamic equalizer cherry on top, just in case.
Exporting IR is a breeze
If you want to use your new cabinet using an HW amplifier simulator, which allows you to load an IR file, MCabinet can do that with just a few clicks.
What such a creative sound design?
MCabinet is primarily designed for guitar and bass cabinets, but can work with almost any type of sound. You can analyze a profile of any set of samples and see where it takes you. Or you can use a flat profile and explore the resonators and magnifiers in any audio you like. It's creativity that matters these days!
