Amplitube Leslie
As real as it gets. The best sounding Leslie models in digital format, period.
AmpliTube Leslie® is the result of an exclusive collaboration between the team at IK Multimedia, Hammond USA and Suzuki Music Corp. from Japan with the aim of recreating to perfection, for the first time, the authentic and true sound of Leslie® amplifiers and cabinets in the digital world.
Thanks to the powerful combination IK's Dynamic Interaction Modeling™ and Volumetric Response Modeling™ technologies, which can reproduce the subtlest interactions of an electronic circuit down to its smallest component and recreate the true acoustic behavior of rotary speaker cabinets, the teams of IK and Hammond succeeded where all others inevitably failed.
The result is not a mere emulation of reality, however close to the original, it is a demanding digital recreation, carrying the official Leslie® seal as a guarantee of the undisputed excellence of what is the definitive Leslie collection for the most demanding producers, songwriters, keyboardists, guitarists and singers.
AmpliTube Leslie brings you the authentic and certified sounds of 5 Lesli amps ee 6 Leslie swivel speaker cabinets that you can use to record to your DAW or perform live, taking advantage of AmpliTube's world-class 64-bit processing.
From microphone position and distance control, precise volume balance, different combinations of amplifiers and cabinets, circuit overdrive, width, rotary speaker acceleration and deceleration control, horn and drum balance and more, you have it all. need to give your recordings the unmistakable sparkle, charm, growl, personality and attitude that are integral to the Leslie sound.
The amps
AmpliTube Leslie has a distinct advantage over its competitors with its modeled circuit amps that are critical to recreating the tone signed by these amazing units, especially when overdrive the amp circuit, typical of genres like rock and blues.
The innovative technology Dynamic Interaction Modeling by IK can analyze and model the behavior of each electronic component in the circuit, as well as the interactions between them, thus reproducing the exact behavior of the entire system in a non-linear and dynamic way.
The cabinets
The Leslie cabinets are very complex to reproduce in the digital environment because the number of time-varying effects happen to the sound simultaneously during the rotation of the rotors. This includes the Doppler effect, the smooth continuous variable delay, the frequency and phase response, as well as the variable reverberation and reflections within the cabinet walls, and that's just the beginning.
These complex machines were recreated using Volumetric Response Modeling, IK's proprietary innovative technology that includes modeling some parts and captures the actual behavior of audio when miking cabinets in a high-quality room to extract the essence of its original timbre. Only this approach can offer digital Leslie models that are indistinguishable from the originals when placed in the same room and miked in the same way. You can think of these digital Leslie models as providing real audio recordings from real cases, they are much more than emulation algorithms!
The singing tone of these legendary cases is finally captured and placed at your fingertips.
In addition, all horns and drums are recorded in stereo, making it possible to mix the four microphones the way you want prefer to fit the needs of any production. All controls are divided into three pages: Setup, Channels and EQ, with the speed control always visible for quick access.
Leslie 122
The classic of the classics.
Suitable for pop, rock, jazz and blues, when you think of the “Leslie sound”, you are probably thinking of the 122.
A vintage unit from the early 70's was modeled here, and this one sounds slightly warmer when compared to the 122A
Leslie 122A
The Leslie 122A is the modern take on the most famous Leslie model, with balanced amp input and a high-mid cabinet that delivers incredible bass response.
It has a slightly more open and forward sound compared to the classic 122.
Leslie 147
The Leslie 147 is another classic Leslie model with a different connector, slightly different power amp, unbalanced amp input and cabinet l sometimes shorter. The overall sound is quite similar to classic 122 but with some noticeable and musically relevant differences. The unit that was modeled is a vintage unit from the mid-1960s, with no reflectors on the horns, which adds another flavor to the sound and an even more tangible sonic direction than the classic 122.

Model 122/122A/147 amplifiers share the following controls:
GAIN: controls the amount of signal going to the amplifier and the level of saturation.
VOLUME: controls the amount of signal going to the cabinet.
INPUT HPF: controls the frequency of the high-pass filter of the input signal.
Leslie 3300w
The Leslie 3300w is one of the most powerful models ever made, featuring a solid-state 300 Watt RMS amp with a true tube preamp. p>
His signature sound is especially suited to pop, rock, jazz and blues.
Controls:
GAIN: controls the amount of signal going to the amplifier and the saturation level.
VOLUME: controls the amount of signal going to the amplifier to the cabinet.
TUBE DRIVE: controls the amount of signal being “heated” by the tube section.
TUBE MODE: controls the amount of saturation per tube, from Soft to Hard .
Leslie G37 / Studio 12
Guitarists of all types extol the G37 for its unmistakable sonic characteristics.
The integrated solid-state guitar amp with its tube preamp section can go from clean and crystal clear to dirty, for a variety of tonal nuances that only Leslie speakers can offer through of a compact two-rotor cabinet with a 12” vintage V30 speaker made for guitar.
The Studio 12, designed as a more portable amplifier for keyboard players, also uses a tube amp in a dual rotor design, but with a 12” Eminence bass speaker made for the widest range of low organ frequencies.
Controls:
Clean:
Control of VOLUME.
Overdrive:
GAIN: controls the amount of signal going to the amplifier and the saturation volume.
VOLUME: controls the amount of signal going to the cabinet.
CONTOUR: controls the amount of “heat” created by the preamp tubes.
For more tuning the preamp. overall sound, there is a small guitar amp style EQ with LOW, MID and HIGH frequency controls after the main controls of all amps.
