Greg Wells ToneCentric
Harmonic Enhancement Plug-in to Add Rich Analog ToneCreated with Grammy®-winning producer, composer and mixing engineer Greg Wells (Adele, Katy Perry, OneRepublic, Mika, Twenty One Pilots) Equipment-based Greg's favorite vintage analogFor use in the studio or live. single-button controlGreg Wells ToneCentric
Add rich analog tone to individual tracks or entire mixes, in the studio or live, with this musical harmonic enhancer developed with Grammy® winning producer Greg Wells based on your favorite pieces of equipment analog.
Created in collaboration with Grammy®-winning producer, musician and mixing engineer (Adele, Katy Perry, OneRepublic), ToneCentric gives you easy access to Greg's signature harmonic enhancement techniques as heard on hit recordings that sold over 85 million units.
Greg on his vision for the plugin:
“I'm always looking for ways to get more music out of the speakers. You get a beautiful effect when you pass audio through healthy vacuum tubes and transformers coiled the right way and record it on a large recorder. This plugin is an homage to the great analog equipment that leaves a wonderful sonic footprint on your sound.
“There are certain pieces of equipment in my studio that do this consistently for me without fail: a monochrome tube compressor from the 1950s, a tape recorder, a bespoke vacuum tube console.
“A lot of plug-ins do a great job pointing in that direction, but sometimes I think the top of the line suffers. When developing ToneCentric, it was important for me to keep things sounding full overall, but with an added depth of field.
“As with all plug-ins in my Signature series, there's a huge amount behind the simplicity of the one-button interface. Different settings on the button will produce different results and I encourage you to experiment with subtle to medium to drastic levels.
“Here's a more tonal song! I hope you like it as much as I do. ”
