Plump analog sweeps, strong filter rhythms, great hardware sound - with a dual version to double the analog attitude.
You're looking for smooth, smooth analog filter sweeps silky? Or are dirty and resonant muting your style more? Nothing adds personality to a track faster than a great filter, and FilterFreak can do it all. From funky envelope-following sounds reminiscent of the classic Mutron to wide resonant LFO sweeps like the Sherman Filterbank. From timeless wah-wah tones to exaggerated sampling effects and sci-fi retention.
Whether you're manually controlling or braking in time for rhythmic effects, FilterFreak delivers the heat and fat, resonant tones that you wish. And we've also added unique features you won't find in the classics, so you can create just about any filter effect you can imagine.
Analog Sound
< b>FilterFreak faithfully recreates the sounds of classic analog resonant filters. Turn the frequency knob for a smooth retro synth sweeps. Boost the resonance to add some edge, or even push the filter to auto-oscillate. And when you drive hard, FilterFreak responds by breaking a bold and pleasing shape, as does the hardware.
We've included seven different analog saturation styles ranging from hot or crunchy distortion to pumping compression. From subtle to extreme, FilterFreak packs a ton of analog magic into one convenient digital package.
Rhythm and Groove
While adjusting knobs is always fun, FilterFreak also includes rhythm and groove tools that automatically add movement to your tracks . Turn on rhythm mode and turn the MIDI knob to create automatic wah effects that sync with your DAW.
Choose a simple note value like octaves or sixteenth notes, select from a library of pre-made rhythms, or even and even create your own rhythm patterns using the Rhythm Editor. So to perfectly match the feel of your music, hold down the Groove button and add a little swing or shuffle to drop it into your pocket. To effects that move with the music, choose Envelope or ADSR modes to trigger the filter with incoming audio. You'll be surprised how much a plug-in can transform the feel of your tracks.
Double Your Pleasure
FilterFreak includes two separate plug-ins - FilterFreak 1 and 2. Load FilterFreak 1 for a single simple filter. But if you want more power, enable the FilterFreak 2. It offers two side-by-side analog filters that can be used in series or in parallel. The combination of two filters with FilterFreak's deep modulation options offers a wide variety of moving sounds to explore. p>
