One of rock's most eclectic and prolific artists, Steven Wilson writes , has been recording and producing music continuously since the early nineties. Album releases and tours as the leader of his band Porcupine Tree and more recently as a solo artist have earned him a reputation for songwriting, experimentation and sound excellence, resulting in many invitations to work with other artists. Among many things, he produced several albums for Swedish Grammy-winning metal band Opeth, and sang on the UK's number one drum and bass album by the band Pendulum, "Immersion". He started a solo career in 2009, and his latest solo album, "The Raven Who Refused to Sing", was recorded at EASTWEST Studios, with legendary recording engineer Alan Parsons in charge. Wilson was known for his 5 years. 1 surround sound mixing, starting with their own projects, but more recently to remix the catalogs of King Crimson, Jethro Tull, Roxy Music, XTC and Yes, among others. His surround sound mixes have been nominated for a Grammy on four occasions, and he has twice won "Album of the Year" at the Surround Music Awards.
