Acoustic object algorithms in a non-acoustic synthesizer world for Chromaphone 2 and AAS Player
Digital Sins forces Chromaphone's acoustic object algorithms in a world of non-acoustic synthesizer. The collection features bright, ultra-sharp sounds reminiscent of the precision and presence of the classic digital synthesizer. The 144 presets are categorized into basses, bells, tones, chords, synthesizers, soundscapes and effects.
"When Daniel Stawczyk abandoned Digital Sins, the whole office stopped. We were blown away by this altered universe, where the Chromaphone acted like a classic digital synthesizer," said Eric Thibeault, product designer at Applied Acoustics Systems, "The 144 presets definitely gave us a retro-futuristic vibe with focused, bright sounds , metallics and percussives that we considered truly distinctive. It seemed a little unusual considering the intrinsic acoustic grain of the Chromaphone. And we didn't suspect we could indulge so much in the digital aesthetic with it. The tour was a real treat. "
The instant download delivery package includes a Chromaphone bank file and free AAS Player plugin. The AAS Player plugin runs on Windows and Mac OS X and supports VST, Audio Units, AAX Native and RTAS plugin formats.
