devolve
Recently, sampling (convolution) reverbs have become increasingly in demand. With convolution, we have the opportunity to capture the sound of anything in the world that can generate reverberation and use those sound impulses freely in any imaginable situation. This allows us to use the sound of state-of-the-art reverb units, real-world rooms, halls, cathedrals, synthetic reverbs and other sources, including those without reverb, without any hassle and uniformly using just a single program or plug module. -in.
Although there are many different sources of impulse responses, we also face the difficulties of acquiring them so that they can be used seamlessly in any software environment.
In many cases, during some stage of impulse capture , we usually have a fairly large set of recorded test tones that were played by some device or miked in some room. This represents the difficulty of recovering impulses conveniently and with minimal effort from the user. The other problem we may face is input or output bit depth mismatch of the recorded and retrieved files. Some convolution plugins tend to support only a small subset of available bit depths. Likewise, existing deconvolution programs and plug-ins only support the provided sample rates and bit depths and tend to provide very low quality deconvolution.
Voxengo Deconvolver overcomes these problems. Firstly, it supports almost all sample formats (bit depth) of uncompressed mono/stereo WAV files. Second, it provides a very convenient environment for deconvoluting large sets of recorded files. Voxengo Deconvolver also offers a true FFT math deconvolution that provides 100% accurate deconvolution. At the same time, this places a heavy demand on the system memory: deconvoluting a 25-second stereo file at 96 kHz may require up to 100 MB of memory.
