Vintage modeled delay and very versatile
There have been many amazing delay units created in the last 70 years, from tape delays to oil cans to modern digital circuitry . So when the D16 Group and our friends at Slate Digital teamed up to create a new delay plug-in, it was obvious what we would model: all of them!
All in One
Introducing Repeater - A dual delay power that features 23 delay units with an authentically unique design, ranging from cans and plates. classic oils to the most famous vintage digital designs:
Cassette Tape - A model of an early 80's Japanese cassette deck. We would call this mid-fi
Coopy Cube - An early 70's delay, originally made from a garden hose! Great for short delays to add depth, also with stereo expansion option.
Digital 42 - One of the most famous modern digital delays, this one has an exceptionally digital tone precocious, with a touch of grain and a slight shell. Great for guitars and vocals.
Digital 42 x 2 - Digital 42's dual option, halve the sample rate for an extremely lo-fi tone exclusive, great on vocals, guitars and drums.
Digital delay - A high resolution digital delay. Use the repeater's filters and colors to customize the tone.
DM-2 - An early analogue bucket brigade delay with a warm, rich tone. Awesome on guitars and synths.
Smooth Delay - A smooth, smooth delay that builds on many old analog topologies.
Memory Guy - Lush analogue delay with a fat vintage tone.
Memory Guy - Based on the analogue delays from the Bucket Brigades, it's dark and thick. Great as a special effect delay or thickener when used with the Spread option.
New Radio - Pitch delay with FM radio style with hi-fi sound. Experiment on vocals.
Old Radio - Delay the tone with grainy AM radio-style lo-fi sound.
Worrying delays - (3 models) - Delays with small tuning modulations for extremely spatial and deep effects. It looks great when both delay lines are set at the same time, creating a mono chorus effect. They can also be used with tight delays with the Spread option for widening and thickening effects.
Plexy Echo - Based on an old tape delay drive from the 70s. It's a fat tone that sounds great on vocal guitars and even drums.
Space delay - Based on the famous magnetic tape delay with a warm and sandy tone. A classic on guitars.
Old Tape Delay - an extremely old tape delay tone from the 1940s.
Classic Delay Tape - Sixties Style Tape Delay.
Modern Tape Delay - Hi-Fi Tape Delay with Tone warm and lush.
Vintage Tape Delay - 70's style tape tone, slightly grainy but warm.
Phone 1 - Lo-fi phone tone, great for special effects or used as a vocal insert or full mix.
Phone 2 - Another lo-fi phone tone with slightly different tone frequency and distortion.
TelRay - The original classic analog delay from a tuna can. Beautifully lo-fi with a rich tone that's perfect for guitars.
