CurveEQ shows the actual response of the filter you're creating via a spline (a smooth curved line), so you can really see what the EQ is doing to the sound. CurveEQ implements spectrum matching technology that allows you to transfer the shape of the spectrum from one recording to another. In other words, this allows you to “copy” the frequency balance of existing time-tested mixes so that other mixes that are still in progress can have a chance to sound better. This technology also helps a lot in mastering music as it easily reduces any dramatic differences in the frequency balance area between the various bands.
CurveEQ's filters can be switched between linear and minimum phase modes. CurveEQ also features a deeply customizable spectrum analyzer like the one found in the Voxengo GlissEQ and SPAN plugins. You can also view, save and load static spectrum charts for comparison and matching purposes.
