Designed Set String Library
Chris Hein Ensemble Strings - The Designed String Set
Chris Hein - Ensemble Strings is a incredibly detailed, flexible and musical music library. A special feature of this library is that the ensemble sounds were not recorded in a group. Instead, carefully selected and matched instruments were recorded and edited separately. Thus, each instrument is perfectly tuned, offering excellence in time and yet (or so) fits perfectly into the sonic character of the ensemble. You won't find a wrong note that spoils the whole set.
Recorded with the greatest care, edited with precision, and combined into ten useful Kontakt Player instruments with one interface User Guide and Comprehensive Scripting, Chris Hein - Ensemble Strings delivers the highest sound quality, many articulations, and incredibly realistic results.

Library Contents
Chris Hein - Ensemble Strings was compiled from a set of over 120,000 samples of violins, cellos and double bass being combined into harmonic ensembles. Each individual recording has been carefully tuned in panning, timing and location. These files were later mixed with other recordings (naturally in 24-bit resolution) to create a set. Due to this procedure, articulations such as pizzicato or col legno can be reproduced in "loose" and "tight" versions.
"Full" and "Full" set sizes. "Small"
There are two sizes of sets for different applications available:
"Full" provides a wide and wide sound experience
"Small" provides character thinner and more delicate
Both sections offer up to eight dynamic layers. Like Chris Hein - Solo Strings, Ensemble Strings offers four "dynamic modes", functions such as "note-head-designer", "key-vibrato", "hot-keys", plus the practical concept of articulation presets that , in combination with the user interface, it really gives the musician the feel and impression of playing these instruments live. Chris Hein - Ensemble Strings and Chris Hein - Solo Strings play perfectly together. The string ensemble provides the best possible background for solo instruments.
The articulations
Chris Hein - Ensemble Strings offers no less than 32 articulations and different playing styles for your instruments. Although it offers ensemble sounds, this library features the so-called Ensemble Maker, known in Chris Hein's individual libraries. Here, multiple voices can be layered to create an even stronger sonic impression. A voice partitioning in the stereo panorama and fine tuning enhance the effect. Needless to say, all articulations are still available here.

The library sound is brought to perfection by a DSP section containing ten effects. There are two independent convolution reverbs available, offering 63 high quality impulse responses.
