The concept behind Sonnox's Oxford equalizer plug-in is to provide an equalizer that does what an analog equalizer does and then adds the extra features that only digital technology can offer. A most EQ plugins are based on a lookup table. This means that when you sweep the frequencies and get control, you are actually sweeping the presets. Your settings are determined by the software creator's choices , not by yours or the music's requirements. The Sonnox Oxford EQ does its calculations in real time using 48-bit double precision calculation. The result is that you get the selected frequencies, not the software designer.  The Sonnox Oxford EQ also has four different selectable EQ types that cover the EQ styles currently popular with professional users, including some legacy styles recognized for their artistic prowess.  ;It is a fully functional 5-band app with selectable shelf settings in the LF and HF sections. In addition, separate variable slope lowpass and highpass filters are provided.

The sound quality is impressive. We've never heard of a plug-in based on techniques artificial reverb that sounds as natural as the Sony Oxford Reverb.

Oxford SuprEsser is a very outstanding professional De-esser and dynamic equalizer. There is a simple mode for quick fixes, but also an advanced mode for more functionality and fine tuning. The combination an intuitive FFT screen and three listening modes allows the user to easily see and hear exactly where the offending frequencies are, allowing for quick reduction or removal of offending audio. In addition to triggering full band compression, only the frequencies Offensives can be carefully carved. Since the SuprEsser can operate at all frequencies, 'plosives' and other annoyances can also be effortlessly removed, making it more than a simple De-Esser.
