As the final step in the production chain, the mastering equalizer offers a chance to adjust the tone of the mix after establishing a relative balance for the individual instruments. The AVA Mastering EQ features a revolutionary filter format that is explicitly designed to dominate your tracks.
Unlike a conventional EQ when AVA Mastering adjacent bands EQ are adjusted, the response is "flat" between the edges of the band. This preserves the relative harmonic balance of the instruments in your mix while adjusting the overall key. The AVA Mastering EQ is optimized for small bandwidth adjustments.
Controlling the AVA Mastering EQ is easy and intuitive: just click and drag your mouse to draw the form of equalization you need. Managing a powerful, full-range EQ has never been faster and easier. The results are essentially "Harrison": effortless, smooth and transparent.
Details
The AVA-ME has 31 varying control bands from 20 Hz to 20 kHz and increasing in 1/3 octave increments. By default, the scale shows +/- 4dB, but if you increase the band beyond 4dB, the scale will increase to show changes up to +/- 14dB.
