The 409 Opto Compressor is a powerful and versatile plug-in with a highly optimized dynamic response, based on the design and principles of analogue Opto Compressors.
Characterized by its natural and musical gain reduction, the 409 offers everything from smooth compression and transparent up to heavy deep cut limitation, suitable for a wide range of applications.
Like its predecessor 925 Compressor, the 409 Opto Compressor is developed using physical modeling principles recreating classic optical element compression characteristics, with a series of extra controls and features.
The main controls allow easy and precise adjustment of the compression response, with Attack and Release ranges of up to 200ms and 787ms respectively.
In contrast to the 'defaults' of the value key fixed, the ratio is controlled by a continuously adjustable dial, allowing for a precise and 'adjustable' setting of the compression ramp. And an additional set of carefully selected features allow the user to reveal the true power of this unit, complementing its dynamic process...
